As I called it,

Auburn won the BCS Championship on a last second field goal by beating Oregon 22-19.  The score would indicate a defensive struggle but it was far from that with Auburn registering almost 520 yards and Oregon over 450.

Auburn went in as the top team and emerged as same.  All the TCU, Boise State and anti-SEC honks can chew on the SEC's FIFTH straight BCS championship.

Yes the SEC does things a tad differently, and the NCAA changed the rules and declared Cam Newton eligible despite throwing the book at USC for a similar infraction but face it, the SEC is the top conference, it won again and the rest of the big conferences and the non AQ can look up at SEC asss for another year.

The Big Ten won a whopping one bowl game and that was only because the Arkansas player who recovered a blocked punt decided to fall to the ground instead of trying to pick up the ball and run it to the end zone for a game winning TD.

LSU, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida all kicked some major azz in the bowl bonanza.

In the end, the twelve schools in the old Confederacy (except for Kentucky which remained loyal) proved again it is on top.
