Auburn v Oregon

Well the BCS championship game has been set for January 10, 2011 between Auburn and Oregon. 

After the way Auburn destroyed South Carolina in the SEC championship game on Saturday, they have to be favoured to win the big prize, especially since Cam Newton is eligible to play (barring him coming out and advising he knew his dad was trying to sell him to Mississippi State).  He is simply put unstoppable.

Yes Oregon is a fine team but they do play in a far weaker conference.  The SEC is simply the best around in the words of Joe Esposito. 

Auburn itself is not a great team but they have the one player who puts them over the top.  Despite all the controversy, it is undeniable he has been the best player in college football this year. 

I love the Oregon campus in Eugene, great part of the US and am a west coast guy but I will have to go for Auburn, they deserve to win after the murderous schedule they faced this year.
