If the last two games were the "test"

then the Canadiens passed with flying colours.

When we were 8-5-1, many were saying, oh but look they haven't played anyone yet, easy schedule.  It was said that when we played real teams, then we would see of which we are made.

Well, in the last two games we beat supposed "real" teams by a combined 5-1 and are now 10-5-1.  Then again, when you are the Montreal Canadiens, the next game is always the test until we win, then it isn't the test.  It is only the test when we lose.

Tonight we played a near perfect road game.  Two power play goals by Subban and Gionta with an insurance marker by Gomez, his first since scoring the winner in Pittsburgh in game 2.

We were awesome in the neutral zone, cutting off passes, intercepting the Bruins whenever we could, and that play resulted in Gomez' goal.  Hamrlik cut off a pass, fed it back to Gomez, who passed it to Kostitsyn who shot and Gomez put in the rebound off the cross bar and Rask.

Price was his normal stellar self stopping 32 of 33 shots directed his way.  His save percentage is now over .920.

Four game homestand is next, Hurricanes, Flyers, Predators and Leafs.  All are winnable games.
