Markov is back tomorrow

Woohoo.

Anyone who follows the Canadiens knows that without Markov, the Canadiens have struggled the last number of years.  We did learn to play without him last year as he was out with a cut achilles tendon and then an ACL in the playoffs but still, we are way better with him that without him.

The only bad part of our game so far this year has been the 3-34 power play.  Markov was the QB on a one of the top power plays over the last four seasons.  Bringing him back will help us in that department.

He will also chew up major minutes allowing us either to bench Spacek who was terrible again tonight or to cut his minutes drastically.  It will also allow us to keep Hal Gill's minutes down so he can be effective killing penalties and in a defensive role.

Markov is back, let's all do a jig.
