I have the card sitting here, saying call for an appointment but alas I keep forgetting either intentionally or not to call.
Why do we hate the dentist so much? I don't really hate going although I have to admit, some times I do feel like telling the hygienist who asks if my teeth were sensitive "well they weren't until you blasted freezing water at them from 2 inches away".
I guess it's the drilling, the way they drive that dental floss halfway to my jaw bone and up to my socket, the way they insist on talking to me while their hands are in my mouth etc that really ends up annoying me.
Really though, I have a good dentist, been going to the same dental office since 1980.
Best experience I had, getting a cavity filled without freezing, now that took nads of steel or a lack of glial cells, not sure which.
Having two wisdom teeth pulled at the same time was also an lovely experience. The fully frozen mouth afterward, not so much.
Actually, I think I really hate it because laying down in the dental chair wrinkles my clothes and messes my hair.
I hate going to the dentist because my hygenist always asks questions I can't answer cause her hands are in my friggen mouth!!
