Well we are now two weeks into the NHL season and the Canadiens are 3-2-1. That is pretty good given our normal record without Andrei Markov is well under .500. He should be back soon from his ACL injury. If we can tread water until he returns, we should be ok. Hell, we have won three games and still only have two goals from our second line, and only two from Cammaleri. Once Gomez, Gionta and Cammaleri start to pick it up, we will be smoking. ;)
Only bad thing so far re the Canadiens, my bloody cable company, Shaw, still has not picked up RDS HD. I have to watch our games in SD. That is so 2007. Please give me RDS HD!
Best part of the season so far, my son had a dream that he was in the NHL scoring for us. Just watch it, spring 2022, first round draft choice, Brandon Halkett,,,,,,
Then by 2025, he will be our starting first line centre. Book it ;)
As for the Cowboys, ugh to the 24th power. What the hell? We were supposed to go to the Super Bowl this year but with the way we are going, we would be lucky to make it to the Toilet Bowl. It started off badly with a loss in Washington when the zebras took away a win on a holding penalty. Then a terrible effort against the Bears (maybe they should have slipped Jay Cutler some sugar), followed up by a good win in Houston and then two subpar performances against the Titans and Vikings. Refs have had it in for us this year but still, no excuses. Gotta beat the Gmen on Monday or season really is over :(
Ah the joy of being a fan!!!
I see Chokeongo is having another great start for the Vancouver Cannots. Other than the Olympic Gold, has he ever won a big game? Of course, he tried his darndest to lose the Olympic Gold for us too. $10 million this year, I am sure Aquillini is loving signing those biweekly cheques. For a Cannot hater like me though, I say play him every night!!!
