Well once per season, the Canadiens make the trek out west to play the local evil empire aka the Canucks. We haven't done well out west and haven't won in Vancouver since 2000. It used to be we owned the Canucks out here, both in the stands and on the ice. There are still a ton of Canadiens' fans at each game we play here but our results on the ice have been pitiful.
Since the strike, we have lost 6-2, 4-2 and 7-1 in Vancouver.
We have won the last three in Montreal however including 2-0 back on November 9.
Count Jr, Contessa and I will make the trek to the game (I am still trying to convince Contessa to wear a Canadiens' tshirt but so far she is resisting not out of hate for the team but more that she thinks women shouldn't wear fan gear).
Count Jr will be wearing his Canadiens' jersey as will I.
It is the one road game per year I want to win.
Hopefully the boys can pull it off.
If we get out of Vancouver with a point, I'll be happy!
