A few weeks ago, cheap short artist Mike Richards yapped about Subban needing to know his place and stop being uppity. He said the veterans on the team needed to straighten Pernell out or else someone would (he then said well not me).
Now just a few weeks later, Subban is sitting because the veterans on the team do not like his attitude. Apparently, heaven forbid, he bangs his stick for passes, sometimes takes longer shifts and is now bowing down to the veteran massa and saying yes massa, no massa, PK be good for massa.
Yes I am making it a black thing. Face it, Ovechkin runs all over yapping jumping up and down like a Grammatica, Crosby yapped the second he donned a jersey, Gretzky whined his whole career (no Subban is not going to be like them) but did anyone ever tell them to shut up and know their role? What is the one common denominator in the situation? Yep, Subban is black and they are all white.
Oh I am sure a ton of you will get mad I am throwing race into it but face it, race is already in it. I am pretty certain a white guy would not have been called out by Richards and would never be said to be too flamboyant and not knowing his role.
This will get worse before it gets better.
