After a choke against the parasites from Northern Alberta on Wednesday, a game we had in hand but let slip away, we went down to Newark yesterday and pounded the Devils 5-1. Two goals in the first two minutes by Gionta and Eller pretty much assured us the win. Price made some good stops in the first to keep it 2-0 then Pyatt with his first of the season, Gomez with his second in two games and Pouliot gave us a 5-0 second period lead.
Arnott got one back for the Devils in the third but we pretty much coasted for the rest of the game to an easy win.
Sharks are up Saturday afternoon on CBC and RDS (please note special game time 2pm ET.
