Yesterday on TEAM 1040, Dave Pratt the drive time host was crapping on the Toronto Maple Leafs and how they are shoved down Canada's throat despite not having won anything since 1967. He went on how he hates Toronto (as he always does). I think he is one of those westerners who hates the Leafs more than he likes the Canucks.
Hating the east is a past time out here. All stems from an inferiority complex.
He went on to say he would rather hell freeze over than the Leafs win a Cup as we would never hear the end of it. His cohost, Don Taylor from Rogers Sportsnet reminded him how CanuckFan often refers to 1994 even though the team didn't win etc. Pratt huffed and puffed that well we don't shove it down Toronto's throat etc. My thought was, of course not Pratt, no one out there cares whether the Canucks exist or not.
Pratt was a failure with TSN so whenever he has a chance, he rips the east.
He is just envious.
Most pitiful is that he is so proud of the fact he can buy expensive tvs because he has no children so he doesn't have to spend on them. Of course, he also never has the joy of watching them play, grow etc but given the way Pratt is so envious of the east, maybe it is best he has no children.
