Well the two hardest games of the road trip are over and we are an inauspicious 0-2 after a 5-2 loss in Dallas despite outshooting the Stars 27-17.
Other than Lapierre, Darche and Pyatt, few of the boys did much tonight. Darche in the second and Gionta shorthanded in the third were our scorers.
We fell behind 3-0, and 4-1 before succumbing 5-2.
That makes five losses out of six and the team is just not executing putting in an effort nor showing much grit.
I am not worried yet as the team has shown it can play and will turn it around. They are missing Markov though and it is showing on defence where some of the boys like Spacek, Gorges and Gill are showing the effects of eating up Markov's minutes.
Picard's play has dropped significantly and it is time for him to sit.
Subban is not the same player he was before racist Richards called him out and then Martin sat him for three games.
Gorges had his worst game in about two years tonight.
Price is looking mentally fatigued.
The bust aka 46 sat tonight and we didn't miss him but the other bust, aka Pouliot needs to sit too.
At least Pacioretty's play has been decent.
Carolina is next on Thursday.
