after beating the locals because we play boring hockey. Good thing I watched the game late and didn't have a chance to call in as I would have had some fun with them.
Remember, the same radio station proclaimed them the only Canadian based team with a shot at the playoffs (Canadiens are ahead of Vancouver in the standings), with an awesome defence (which has been pretty pedestrian this year) and with an awesome set of forwards (who couldn't score). I guess they have to try and make up for the egg on their collective faces.
Would we win in a 7 game series against the alleged power house from Rogers Arena, who knows, but in one game, we did what we had to win, were only outshot by one 30-29 and won against this team for the third time in the last four meetings, two wins were shutouts.
Can't wait to see what the Vancouver Sun has to say tomorrow.
