The movie Rudy about Dan Reutteger is on tv. It is one of those feel good stories about a guy who is too small to play NCAA football but whose life dream is to play for Notre Dame (remember people that is when Notre Dame actually mattered as a football school).
He fights and fights to get into Notre Dame and then doesn't get to play until the last couple of plays in his last home game.
Of course at the end of the movie, he gets a sack and is carried off the field.
Too bad he didn't go to a real football program ;)
