Could there be a touch of racism

in Mike Richards whining about PK Subban's play?

PK is probably the most dynamic player of colour ever to play in the NHL.  Most other men of colour in the NHL have been fringe players like Jean Luc Grand-Pierre, Francis Bouillon or Mike Grier or goons like Peter Worrell, Georges Laraque or Donald Brashear.

PK is not like those players in that he he has skill, is not a fringe player and is taking the NHL by storm.

Why would Richards single him out as he did?  Does Richards not like the fact an Afro-Canadian player doesn't take crap from him?  Was he really afraid of what PK might have done to him had a fight occurred last night after Richards went after Kostitsyn?

Things that make you go mmmmmmm
