Brazillian man wins $17,500.00 from McDonald's

for getting fat over the years he worked for the company.  Apparently the guy went from 155 lbs to over 210lbs over the years he worked for the company.  He blames McDonald's food for making him fat.

I guess it had nothing to do with him constantly shoving the food into his piehole.

I bet it went something like this

employee "good afternoon sir, would you like to supersize your meal"

customer "no thank you"

employee "do you mind if I have your supersized portion, I haven't eaten enough today"

customer "sure but aren't you gaining weight, you look 20lbs heavier since yesterday"

employee "yes I am but it is all a plot to get fat and then sue the company for it, will you help me"

Ok, I am as guilty as the next guy for eating fast food, but damn if I gain weight from it, it's my own fault isn't it?

I wonder if I could sue the legal system for making me into an argumentative prick, after all, I have been a lawyer for 18 years and will argue anything.  I wasn't like this before I went into law, the law must have done it to me.

That's it, I am filing my Notice of Claim against the Law Society of British Columbia and the common law today.
