All good things must come to an end

No, I am not ending my blog ;)  The Canadiens lost today 3-1 to Florida at home to end the month of October 7-3-1.  We bettered Tomas Vokoun with 41 shots but only put one by him.  Price was not at fault for the loss but every time he played the puck outside the crease, it was an adventure.

In one of those HUH moments, we had a 5 on 3 to start the third but Markov was nowhere to be found.  Gionta was stopped by Dennis Wideman's skate even though Wideman wasn't even trying to stop the puck.

Still, it was our eleventh game in 24 nights, fifth in eight so no surprise they looked a little heavy legged.  It started to show last night but they fought through it for a win.  Tonight they were not as fortunate.

Three games next week, at Columbus, at Buffalo and home to Ottawa.   We then play Vancouver at home on November 9, then the schedule gets tougher.

Bring em all on.

  1. I agree! Where was Markov on a 5 on 3 given the powerplay so far this year?
