It's been a little over a week since Canada's Team was knocked out by the Bruins.
Despite having a decimated lineup we took a team allegedly much better than us to game 7 overtime before we gave up an unfortunate goal against. We are left wondering what might have been had Pacioretty, Markov and Gorges been available or if Eller Desharnais and others were not playing hurt.
We can be proud of our boys.
Irony of ironies, we had a better season this year but were out in the first round whereas last year with a weaker team we went to the third round.
Truth is often stranger than fiction.
