Game 6 tomorrow

Ugh, it has happened again, just like in 1996 and 2006.  Both of those years, we won the first two games of round one on the road and returned home to a belief the series was our's.  As the old saying goes "hang on playa", we lost the next four in those years and have lost the last three in this one, the last two in OT.

We had game 4 in our back pocket but kept allowing Dauterive's Bruins to come back from 1-0, 3-1 and 4-3 deficits to win 5-4 in overtime.

Last game we never led but only trailed for about 10 minutes before tieing it late.  We had glorious chances in both overtime periods but alas, we lost on the missing link Nathan Horton's goal in double overtime.

Tomorrow, we face elimination.  We have never lost four in a row all season  As my Master Khan said to Kwai Chang Caine when he admitted the first boy of non-pure Chinese blood to the Shaolin Temple  in Kung Fu, there is a first time for everything but something tells me (and no it isn't my Hab ulcer) we win tomorrow and force Game 7.

The Bruins have had everything go right the last three games, overtime goals that were offside, deflected pucks to players in front of open nets, Ryder and Lurch stopped sure goals by Plekanec and Cammalleri (that latter in overtime) and Gionta misfired on a potential game winner in double overtime.

We are due for a break in the series and it will come tomorrow.

HabFan, hop aboard, there's adventure and excitement ahead.
