Canada's Team falls to Devils

It seems that no matter how good we are, how bad the Devils are, when the game is etc, the Devils punk us.

It has been that way ever since Martin Brodeur joined them in the early 90s.  We average at most 1 win a season against them.  The Devils will lose to the dregs of the NFL but when it comes to playing us, they step their game up.

Today they were ahead 2-0 after four minutes and the game was basically over.  Even when Brodeur went out after one period with an injury, we still couldn't get back into the game.

It didn't help that Jacques and Lou have the refs in their pocket.  The Devils play a tight defensive, clutch and grab style yet for years they have been amongst the least penalized teams in the NHL.  Things that make you go mmmmmmmm

Bruins and Islanders are next (another back to back).  It seems all we have lately are back to back games.  The schedule has not been kind to us that is for sure.
