We take on our most hated and bitter rival tonight

Oh I know some will say the Leafs are our biggest rival, but anyone of my generation or younger cannot possibly say the Leafs are our biggest rival.  The Leafs and Canadiens have not met in the playoffs since 1979 and only on rare occasions have both teams been good at the same time.  Only once have they both made the semi-finals in the same year since then.

For me, now that the Nordiques are long gone (thank God), the Bruins are by far our biggest rival.  We have met in the playoffs too often since 1979.  We often fought each other for the Adams Division crown and have had some legendary battles.  We were the glamour boys, them the alleged lunchpail hard working boys.

We had the real stars, they had the hard workers etc.

We also handed them their playoff asses more often than not (always a good thing).

So yes children, the Bruins are our biggest rival and tonight we aim to end our first three game losing streak of the season at home against them.

Price v Thomas.

Go Habs Go.
