Maybe he masked many of the problems on the team for the last few years. He is just so good, he scored enough to cover up for a defence that is afraid to tackle or is unable to create turnovers.
Since he broke his collar bone, the defence/team has given up 111 points and scored 42. They stopped competing the second he was injured.
Yes the team was 1-4 when he was hurt but they were beating the Giants, a team many think is the best in the NFC. At least in their earlier losses, they seemed to compete.
Now since he is out, they no longer have any fight in them.
For all those who said it was Romo, he couldn't win, choked when counted etc, clearly you were all wrong.
