Lindy on the road, and Ruff at hom

brings the Sabres to Montreal tonight.

In most year, he has been our death knell in that the Sabres are on of the few teams in NHL history to have a winning record against us all time and most of that has been under Ruff's tutelage.  It all started when Dominik Hasek used us as his bitch but it has continued since then.

I remember when Ruff played for the Sabres, the joke was he was Lindy on the road and Ruff at home.  I really don't know how he has survived for so long in one coaching job.  He did make the Finals one year but other than that, hasn't done all that much.  I guess the fact the Sabres are a cheap organization who don't want to pay a coach to sit and watch tv or don't have high expectations has allowed him to survive the bad years.

His smirk is quite annoying especially as he smirks under his porn stache.

In any event, it will take a good effort from us tonight to win.  We have beaten them twice so far this year but both games were close one goal Friday night affairs in Buffalo.  I expect a low scoring tight game again tonight as two of the top goalies in the NHL face off (Miller v Price).
