Just seeing him on the ice makes me puke. All Canadiens' fans remember what he did to Saku Koivu in the 2006 playoffs. His high stick on Koivu turned the series around. He received no penalty and went on to high stick Markov in the face the next game.
Peter Laviolette told the world no one was more honest than Justin Williams hence my nickname for him "the Truth". Others nicknamed him Hacksaw.
I think what annoyed me more than anything else in that situation was that Williams was able to leave the Bell Centre that night in anything other than a body bag. As my good pal Wehavemorecupsthanyou stated that night, the real question is how is Williams still breathing.
Anyway, watching him tonight still makes me want to puke.
It wasn't just watching Williams that made you want to puke, it was the whole team. I wish we could have given the Habs a better game tonight.
ReplyDeleteThat is why the instigator rule must be gotten rid of, and let the players police these matters themselves. A situation like that needs to be handled on the ice.
